CET Karnataka 2013 Details

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test CET for undergraduate courses in medical and engineering colleges is one of the most renowned, if not the most renowned, entrance examinations in the state. The number of students appearing for this year's CET in Karnataka has seen a rise when compared to that of the previous year. There are an additional 9000 candidates appearing for the exam for this year. This shows that the engineering and medical professions are not all that clichéd after all. If anything, the popularity that these courses have seen is growing multifold. The number of examination centres have also seen an increase from 248 centres to 287 centres around the state.

As always, both the candidates appearing for the Karnataka CET as well as their parents would be very eager to know they have fared in this all important examination which would help them carve their career paths with composure. As the clock turns to 3:50 pm on May 2nd, it would bring out a momentary sigh of relief from the 1.39 lakh strong candidate base of KCET, after which they would scurry to access the internet to find out how they have fared in the test by verifying their answers using the answer keys for Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology exams.

KEA, the authorities responsible for conducting the CET, will post the official answer key on the KEA website a week after the completion of the exam. However candidates need not manually check for answers via various text books to find how they performed in the KCET 2013.
