The movie is based on a real life story.Kiranjeet is married to london based idian guy .At first he seemed alright but then he starts abusing her.She was sexually and physically abused for many years until one day unable to take it anymore she torched him .She never intended to kill him but he died due to complications. She was charged with murder and was given life sentence.
In the jail she meets a person called veronica who changes her life completly.With the help of veronica's brother (who is a lawyer ) and an NGO group called Blackwell south sisters she gets her justice.With their help her charges were changed to manslaugthering ,the punishment for which is 3 years and 3 months the exact amount she had spent in jail and hence was released.
Aishwariya Rai plays the role of Kiran and Naveen Andrews plays thr role of her husband.Both of them deserve sound claps for their brilliant performance.The movie has been excellently narrated.It is a movie worth watching.Nanditha Das plays the role of the person who is from the NGO.

I wrote this review because the movie was an failure and most people do not think the movie is worth watching .I wanted to let the people know what a great movie it is
