Covering the many costs of college is not easy. By providing students who plan to or are already majoring in Education with a scholarship, Scholarships.com hopes to make things a bit simpler, all while helping to produce yet another class of students who will use their education to help future students. Those who apply for our Education Scholarship may receive $1,000 to pay for their college expenses. Applying is easy. Just respond to the following question in a 250 to 350 word essay (entries that fall outside of this word range will be disqualified):
"What has influenced your decision to pursue a career in education?"
Eligibility:
U.S. citizen
Registered user of Scholarships.com
Undergraduate student or a high school senior who plans to enroll in a college or university in the coming fall
Applicant must have indicated an interest in one of the following:
Child Care/Education
Education
Health Education
Music Education
Special Education
