IIIT admissions 2013 in Basara, Nuzvid Idupalapaya(RK Valley) for six year integrated B Tech RGUKT
Rajiv Gandhi University for Knowledge and Technologies (RGUKT) has been issued notification inviting applications for the admissions in Basara, Nuzvid & Idupalapaya(RK Valley) IIITs for the academic year of 2013. Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) Hyderabad inviting applications from eligible candidates for admissions into the first year of six year integrated B.Tech program offered at three IIITs Basar, Nuzvid and Idupalapaya(R.K Valley) for the academic year of 2013-14.
Number of seats available in each IIITs, reservations along with fee details
Basara, Nuzvid, Idupulapaya(R.K Valley) IIITs total intake into the first year for the academic year of 2013 is 3000 admissions and each institute has a total of 1000 intakes. 195 seats are filled-in the quota of PHC, NCC, CAP and Sports quota. Other state students including Indian Workers in Gulf Countries has 5% supernumerary seats in the diversified quota for admissions in three IIITs. The university-wise seats reservations are like this, 36% seats for OU region, 42% for Andhra region and 22 % for SVU region. And 33.33% reservations are followed for girl candidates. The annual fee for the each of the first two years is rupees 36,000 for students of Andhrapradesh state. The annual highly subsidized fee for each of the first two years for AP students is Rs.36, 000.
The regular students who have passed the SSC, 10 th class or its equivalent examination held in the year 2013 are only eligible for applying.
The student's age should not be more than 18 years as on 31-12-2013.
In case of SC/ST candidates the age should not be more than 21 years.
How to apply?
The candidates can apply through either online mode or through Aponline.
Applying through RGUKT website online: The candidates can apply through RGUKT website at: http://admissions2013.rgukt.in. The candidate has to take the print out of the submitted application. The candidate have to pay an amount of rupees 150 as registration fee by any one of the following modes.
Through a crossed Demand Draft: The candidate have to take a Demand Draft for 150 rupees from any Nationalized bank drawn in favor of RGUKT SBH A/C No. 62282402377 payable at Hyderabad. On the back side of the DD, the candidates must write their name, father's name and 10th or SSC final examination hall ticket number.
Through SBH Bank Challan: The candidate has to pay the registration fee amount of rupees 150 into A/C No. 62282415161 through bank challan system from SBH branch only.
Through SBH Internet Banking (i – collect): The candidates even has the facility of paying the registration fee through Internet banking. The candidates have to transfer the amount into A/C No. 62282412273 (through SBH Branch only).
An important note is that in case of none remittance of registration fee the application will be rejected.
Applying through Aponline: Candidates can apply through the Aponline service centres by paying registration fee of rupees 150 and services charges of rupees 15 per application. The candidates have to take the print out copy of submitted application.
Address for sending the printout copy of application form along with all enclosures
The candidates have to sent the printed copy of submitted application along with the enclosures of original DD/ SBH Challan/SBH i- collect E-receipt / APOnline receipt and the copies of the certificates to the below mentioned address by speed or registered post to reach before the last date of applying. If the application's print out form fails to reach at RGUKT, the application will not be considered.

Certificates copies to be enclosed
The Hall ticket of SSC/10 th class final Examination
Study certificates from class 4 to class 10/ nativity certificate issued by concerned authority
Caste certificate for SC, ST and BC community students, issued by the concerned authorities
Medical Board issued Medical confirmation certificate for physically handicapped students
A confirmation certificate in the prescribed proforma for availing quota in servicemen
A certificate issued from concerned authorities on applying in Sports/ NCC quota
Selection procedure followed for admissions
The Admissions will be based on Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject by the applicants in their SSC/ class 10 th examinations 2013. For the year 2013-14 the Government under Statute 13 (3), prescribed a deprivation score of 0.4 to be added to the 10 th class GPA of students cum applicants pursued education in non-residential government schools Zillaparishad and Municipal Schools. It is nothing but an object to provide weightage for socio economically challenged students for admissions 2013-14. The candidates will be selected on merit basis and the same procedure is followed for CBSE and ICSE students.

The Last date for the receipt of online applications: 17.06.2013 (up to 8.00 PM)
The last date for receipt of printed online applications: 22.06.2013(up to 5PM)
The display of the Selection List of candidates for Counseling: 08-07-2013
The dates for Counseling at RGUKT IIIT: 24th and 25th July 2013

|An important note to all IIIT applicants, the Hon'ble High Court of Andhrapradesh state has directed the Rajiv Gandhi University, not to release the selection list of the IIIT candidates till 09-07-2013. Hence until further directions from the Hon'ble High Court of Andhrapradesh, the University has deferred the IIIT admissions selection list.|
