Journalism has different scopes in terms of job prospects. If you get qualified in your bachelor degree with journalism as one of the topics of study, then you can get into several jobs like you can become

a) Reporter in NewsPapers, Editors, Sub Editors, Asst. Reporters etc. NewsPapers (Various newspapers are in the current field and various fields are there in Newspapers). Most of the fresh graduates are more interesting especially in newspapers and are intended to focus more in newspaper fields.

b) Freelancers. You can write different articles and submit to the News papers or the agencies and you will be paid for this.

c) Radio Fields like you can become RJ’s and various productions departments in Radio Station, Television and broadcasting medias like you can become a production executive, Manager incharge of various telecasts,

d) Work for News Agencies like PTI and UNI (Press Trust of India and United News Agencies).

e) Magazines : Work as Editors, Sub Editors, Asst. Reporters etc.

There are various universities offering Journalism as a course of study. The prospects are more and the above are very few.
