BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: The Business Support Specialist will assist customers with business inquiries or challenges thereby contributing to overall account relationship growth and providing a consistent customer experience. Key responsibilities will include investigating and responding to customer business inquiries, tracking customer support engagements and delivering customer education. * Investigates and responds to customer business questions including those related to customer portal, service setup, contract terms and invoices. * Tracks details of customer communications and business support tickets * Escalates issues requiring further support within install base of customers and named accounts to technical support, Account Managers and Sales Executives * Identifies and communicates trends of continually challenged accounts that require proactive support * Generates demand for additional products and services within customer base by educating customers on Akamai’s Product/services. * Determines new growth opportunities * Conducts monthly customer invoice reviews
