This course is conducted by Aeronautical Society of India, New Delhi. It is recognized by Govt. of India as equivalent to Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Engineering as per G. O. No: F-18-1/78-T-7 dated 02-08-1978. Candidates with A. M. Ae. S. I. Degree are eligible to apply for any job in Aeronautics, Govt., Semi-Govt, Public or private undertakings where B. E /B. Tech. in Aeronautical Engineering is prescribed as the minimum qualification. They can also appear for GATE to secure admission for higher studies.
AICTE has revised the syllabus and their recommendation has been incorporated. Ministry of Human resource Development, Government of India, has accended its approval to this syllabus vide their letter F-24-4/2002-TS-III dt. 31st December 2004.
Eligibility : Duration :
10+2 or HSC or Equivalent
(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with 50% each)
Or
Diploma in Engineering (50 % marks)
Or
B. Sc (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics - 2nd Class) 4 years
