Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun will be conducting State Entrance Examination 2008 (UTUEE-2008) on June 8, 2008 for admission to degree courses in B. Pharmacy, BHMCT, B. Pharmacy II year/B.Tech II year and Post Graduate Course in MCA of State Govt., Govt. aided and Private unaided institutions affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University and MCA and B. Pharma for HNB Garhwal University and B. Pharma for Kumaon University for academic session 2008-09.
Date of Examination: 8th June, 2008
UTU EE 2008 Eligibility:
1. Candidates must have passed Intermediate examination of Uttarakhand Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University for admission to 1st year of B. Pharmacy as per subjects prescribed by AICTE.
2. Candidates must have passed 3 year degree course with Mathematics as one subject at 10+2 level for admission to 1st year of MCA.
3. The candidates must have passed Diploma course, recognized by the Board of Technical Education, Uttarakhand with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate for admission to 2nd year of BTech/ B.Pharmacy courses.
4. The candidates must have passed B.Sc. with at least 60% marks (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) for 2nd year of B. Tech. courses.
5. The candidates appearing in qualifying examination are eligible to appear in UTUEE-2008 subject to the condition that they will fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of counseling.
6. The details of admissions for NRI and Kashmiri migrants will be published later, according to the norms as laid down by the Govt. of Uttarakhand/AICTE.
How to apply for UTUEE 2008
Cost of Brochure/OMR Application Form Inclusive of Examination Fee - The Cost of Brochure/ Application Form Inclusive of Examination Fee is Rs. 600.00 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 300.00 for SC/ST candidates with Rs. 30/- additional as post office handling charges.
Sale of Information Brochure/Application Form: The information Brochure containing Application form will be sold from April 15,2008 to May 05,2008 from Post Offices of Dehradun GPO, Roorkee HO, Kotdwar HO, Haldwani HO, Tallital, Pantnagar, Rudrapur, Kichha, Ramnagar, Kashipur, Mussoorie, Hardwar, Rishikesh MDG, Rudraprayag, Pauri, Srinagar, Tehri, Almora, Ranikhet, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Post offices of Luck now SPO, Meerut City HO, and New Delhi GPO.
UTU EE 2008 Admission Procedure:
Admission to Engineering degree courses for 1st year of Uttarakhand Technical University affiliated institutions and other state universities will be processed through aieee examination 2008.
The Admission to B.Architecture will be based on merit of AIEEE-2008 and NATA Test (above 40% marks).
Admission to MBA course of Uttarakhand Technical University affiliated institution will be processed through management aptitude test (mat) organized by All India Management Association, New Delhi conducted during September 2007 and May 2008. MBA admissions will be directly through individual institutions.

Last Date for Sale and Receipt of Forms 5th May, 2008
Delivery of Admit Cards 28th May, 2008
Date of Examination 8th June, 2008
Examination Centers: At nine places in Uttarakhand - Almora, Dehradun, Haldwani, Nainital, Pauri, Pithoragarh, Roorkee, Rudrapur, Uttarkashi and in addition at Delhi, and Luck now.
