Scheme and standard of passing in the Examination

At the end of every six months there will be a university examination. Normally first, third and fifth semester exams will be held in the months of December or January every year, whereas second, fourth and last and sixth semester examinations will be held in the months of May or June every year.

Students who get more than 40% but not more than 50% will be declared as pass class, between 40% to 50% will be considered as second class, between 60% to 70% is first class and those who get more than 70% will be considered as first class or distinction.
