OverviewJan Aushadhi is a major program of the Department of Pharmaceuticals under the aegis of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers for the goal of providing quality medicines at affordable prices for all. As per the latest numbers, over 285 Jan Aushadhi stores have been set up in various parts of India. Products provided through the Jan Aushadhi scheme are more than 550.
Now the Govt. of India has an ambitious plan to open 3000 Jan Aushadhi stores (JAS) during the current year of 2016-2017. With this goal, the Bureau of Pharma PSUs of India (BPPI), Department of Pharmaceuticals, Govt. of India invites applications for Distributors in different States and Union Territories of India.
