The London Business School has held top spot for many years now as the UK's premier business school. Until recently, however, it was second to INSEAD in European B-school rankings, but outranked INSEAD in the QS Global 200 Business School Report 2014/2015. Global recruiters give the London School a perfect score, making the school's graduates some of the most coveted among employers in Europe and in the rest of the world. 2. University of Oxford's Said Business School's


The prestige associated with Oxford University's business school, the Said Business School, extends to its performance and reputation as a premier B-school as well. The QS World Rankings gave the school an academic score that is only surpassed by Cambridge Judge and London Business School. The school is one of the new entrants on the list, with an MBA programme that is only 20 years old in comparison with the London Business School which is over 50 years old.

3. University of Cambridge's Judge Business School


Another prestigious business school associated with the historic Cambridge University, the Judge Business School also achieves a near-perfect academic score. The school is among Europe's top 10 for MBA, and its MBA programme has been consistently ranked among the world's best by Forbes Magazine, Financial Times, Bloomberg and other experts. The school is a part of the Department of Engineering at Cambridge's School of Technology. The school has a reputation for generously supporting the local Cambridge technology-oriented business and start-up scene, which has been nicknamed Silicon Fen.

4. Imperial College London's Imperial College Business School


One of London's two most prestigious universities is Imperial College, and the university's business school had remained static just outside of the UK's top 10 B-schools for a while at number 11 (according to QS Top 200 Business School rankings) until 2015. The Financial Times went on to rank the full-time MBA programme of the Imperial College Business School at number 4 in 2016, a clear indication of the sweeping improvements in an already excellent school. The Business School was also ranked at number 3 in 2015 by the Financial Times. The school has recently added a new finance research centre, with faculty from NYU Stern and Wharton Business School to spearhead goals to make it a leading centre for financial analysis in Europe. The school has also introduced an online MBA programme replacing the distance learning programme that used to exist for international students or those unable to study on campus.

5. University of Warwick's Warwick Business School


Warwick Business School was founded in 1967 and is one of the most selective and prestigious business schools in the world. The school is known for its international outlook, making it a top source of individuals in leadership roles around the world. It has featured in UK's top 20 for a long time, but climbed seven places into the top 15 in 2015. The school is based in the town of Warwick, at the location of the historic university, but also has a centre at the Shard building in London. The school's executive MBA is a new addition to the list of management programmes already on offer, in addition with master's programs in human resources and finance.
