Though the author has given elaborate details about how to book OPD appointments , check lab details and also blood availability at the blood banks attached to government hospitals, but what I feel is that nothing can match the personal visit to the government hospitals at the first hour to take appointments at the general counter and have all details. Every government hospital is functioning from early morning but on some days certain doctors won't come and this information is not given on online bookings. Moreover a personal visit shall ensure quick and easy access to doctors and lab facilities and nowadays, with payment of user charges, certain tests are done immediately without even taking appointments. And the government doctors in the guise of going for rounds at the wards would see only few patients in the morning and those who are physically present in the queues are obliged and others are asked to visit his private clinic somewhere in the city.
