It is the study of how to make computers to do things that minds can do. This term is used to describe computers or computer programmes, which solve problems with ‘intuitive’ or ‘best-guess’ method. Expert Systems, neural networks, and fuzzy logic are the most common types of AI currently in use.
Artificial Intelligence is the technology making use of machines/ robots in certain fields where it is difficult/ impossible for human beings to reach and conduct experiments or investigations. We can make use of A.I. with the help of computer programming in certain items like mineral exploration, medical examination, language studies etc.
This is a technological field, where a lots and lots of opportunities are awaiting an enthusiast.
Prospects
AI programs can do many different things. They can play games, predict share values, interpret photographs, diagnose diseases, translate language, take dictation, help design complex machinery, teach logic, make jokes, compose music etc.
