Joining Air India may be a dream job of someone. It's their opportunity to get a job in India Airlines which is a low-cost subsidiary of Air India. They recently published a recruitment for 280 vacancies. So interested candidates can apply with Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESl).

Who can apply


Education required:
1) BE/ B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/ Aeronautical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Instrumentation/ Electronics & Communication Engineering or its equivalent from a Govt. recognized Institute/ University.
2)GATE score of 80% and higher (75% and higher for SC/ ST/ OBC)

Age Limit:
General Category: - Not above 28 yrs as on 01.07.2016
OBC:- Not above 31 yrs as on 01.07.2016
SC/ST:- Not above 33 yrs as on 01.07.2016

How to apply


The online form filling starting date is 08.08.2016 and closing on 15.09.2016. Also, the candidates have to send the hard copy of the application with enclosed copies of passport size photograph with the required testimonials (qualification details, GATE score, Age proof, Original Bank Challan, category, ID proof) to the Post-box no 12006, Cossipore Post Office, Kolkata-700 002. Submission of hard copy after 30.09.2016 would be rejected.

According to Air India, the total number of vacancies is 280. ( General-143, SC-41, ST-21, OBC-75)

Application Fee


Applicants need to pay an amount 2000/- only through the online SBI bank challan. SC/ST/Ex-servicemen applicants are exempted from paying the application fees. Without the application fees, the application would be rejected.

Selection Procedure

  • The applications will be reviewed.

  • After scrutiny the applications Management will decide which candidates to be called for interview.

  • After interview shortlisted candidate names will be announced.

  • Results


    The selected candidates name will be announced by 15.11.2016 on official website - http://www.airindia.in/careers.htm.

    Service Bond

    Selected applicants need to fill up a bond to complete training and serve the company for a minimum period of 5 years after they acquire AME licence. The candidate will have to pay 7, 00,000/- in case he/she leaves before completion of the bond period.

    Salary


    During the first year of training, they get a stipend of Rs 25000/-. After completion of training, they will be paid an amount ranging between Rs. 40000/- p.m. to Rs. 55000/- p.m.
