Tea tree oil is an extracted essential oil from a plant/tree in Australia and before you think it is related to the beverage tea, let me tell you it is no where related to tea. This oil is very well known for its benefits and curing abilities, however it is suggested that it should not be taken directly or ingested.
Here are some benefits of Tea tree oil:

1. Treatment for acne:

Tea tree oil along with its anti-bacterial properties helps in curing acne. Well acne is something that many of us are dealing with So if you are one of them then you should definitely give it a try. But you should have patience because "Patience is the Virtue". However do not use it directly on your skin. Instead try the paste mix of two drops of tea tree oil, honey and yogurt and apply it on and leave it for 15 mins. Wash it off.

2. Helps in Dandruff and Lice Problems:

7.Treating nail fungus:

Tea tree oil has fungus fighting ability and hence is a great cure for discoloured nails or nail fungus. Mix it with coconut oil and apply it on nails. But don't grease your nail too much. It can even be use to apply on cuticles on the nails.

Warning: Though tea tree oil has so many benefits, in a few cases it has been seen that it doesn't suit everyone. So I would suggest you to first try it on your wrist and then use it ,if it has no side effects on your skin. Also do not ingest it orally, by this I mean to say do not drink it or inject it in your body.

Tea tree oil is an amazing tonic for our skin as well as health. It comes handy in situations where you get burns, cuts, skin problems or even at the time of cold and headaches. Hence this can be a versatile oil to your own first aid kit. Though it is a bit costly it definitely is worth the pay. Always keep a bottle of this magic lagoon with you.
