Best CBSE Schools in Lucknow


Lucknow has several excellent schools affiliated with the CBSE board in New Delhi. Some of these have earned their reputation over decades, while others are new and use innovative approaches to holistic education.

Army Public School


The Army Public School in Lucknow offers priority admission to children of defence personnel, but children of civilians are also admitted. Highlights of courses offered include Art of Healthy Living and Productive Living (primary), General Knowledge and Sanskrit (middle school), electives in Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship and Psychology in the Plus-Two level. Activities offered include traditional arts, textile designing, ceramics, tailoring, carpentry, performing arts like music and dance (Indian and Western), and various sports such as hockey, football, basketball, cricket, kabaddi, gymnastics and yoga. Compulsory social service and NCC also exist for boys and girls.

G.D. Goenka Public School


The G.D. Goenka Public School has branches in Shaheed Path and Mahanagar areas of Lucknow. The VIBGYOR school in Lucknow is a branch of a national body of schools with branches across the country.
