Earlier too BDA Flat allotments 2016 has been made.

It may be recalled Bangalore Development Authority has made advertisement for plots as BDA Bangalore Kempegowda layout 5000 sites.

Who can own flats through Bangalore Development Authority

Below mentioned clauses has to be fulfilled before proceeding to apply for the flats at BDA, Bangalore:
  • Applicant should be a major i.e., he or she should have crossed 18 years of age as on the date of notification.

  • It is mandatory not to have any plots or flats anywhere in the State either allotted through private agencies or by any other government or statutory agencies as on the date of applying for the flats.

  • Candidate should have stayed anywhere in Karnataka from past 15 years, applicant is required to produce domicile certificate in any form at the time of applying for the flats, officers of the Administrative Service however are exempted from this clause.

  • Applicant is eligible to apply under Economically Weaker Section quota in case the earnings from all sources not exceeding Rs.1 lac per annum, applicant required to enclose copies of the relevant documents to claim the quota issued from time to time by the government agencies

Note: All flats will be allotted on lottery basis.



How to apply for BDA Flats

Candidates who fulfil the requisites as mentioned above are eligible to apply depending on their choices and affordability.
  • Registration at Bangalore Development Authority is mandatory before applying for the flats

  • Designated branches of Public Sector Banks are empowered to issue requisite application form

  • Submit duly filled in application along with enclosures and registration card copy at the same branch from where the blank application is procured.

  • The initial deposit for the flats should be made either in the form of demand draft or in the form of Banker's Cheque or in the form of Pay Order which should be procured in the name of Commissioner, BDA Bangalore.

  • An eligible person is allowed to apply for one flat at one area, separate applications should be made in case he or she wishes to apply in other areas, separate deposit, enclosures should also be made, depending the eligibility conditions and availability of the flats out of the requests made by the applicant only one flat will be allotted.

  • Based on the previous attempts allotments will be made

  • Deposits made do not carry any interest in case of unsuccessful allottees

  • Application must contain all the copies of documents as mentioned in the advertisement, as failure to enclose any one document may result in disqualification of such applications
