Why and how to write a letter to a bank
Though standard and prescribed formats are available to put forth our various requirements to a bank, there are still many situations and needs for which standard forms are not available.
One such situation is when the bank fails to carry out a given standing instruction. For giving a fresh standing instruction or withdrawing an existing instruction there are standard forms. But not a one for complainng about non-compliance.
Hence a sample letter to a bank regarding non-compliance of standing instructions is given below.

Name of the beneficiary:
Beneficiary's bank account No:
Beneficiary bank IFSC code:
I have to state that the SI was complied till last month duly. However it is not done this month. I came to know this as the beneficiary telephoned me to inform non-receipt of the money. It is already one week over. Please verify immediately and carry out the Standing Instructions transfer immediately. There was sufficient amount of balance in my account on 10th and is still available.
Please carry out the amount transfer immediately and ensure the beneficiary receives the money in his account today itself. Please also do the needful to properly comply with the SI in coming months also.
