Admission to other classes

Admission to UKG

Loyola School Jamshedpur begins its intake from KG (UKG, to be precise). The total number of vacancies for this class is 250. 10% of the seats are reserved for students coming from below poverty line (BPL) backgrounds. The ideal age for getting admission to KG is four and half to five years. Students who are in their 5th year are interviewed for their intelligence and suitability for admission. Parents too are interviewed for their understanding of the school's policies and the education pattern offered by the school. School admissions are no more a cakewalk for most parents. Often, some parents resort to pressurization and unfair means to get their child admitted in the school of their choice. The Loyola School administration doesn't encourage any kind of donations or influence during the admission process. Parents found indulging in such activities are debarred from the admission process. The admission process gets over in the previous year itself. The forms for admission are available in the month of September and are to be submitted within the stipulated time period that is generally the last week of the same month.

Classes other than kindergarten and XI

For classes other than KG and class XI, admissions depend upon the availability of vacancies in the respective class. In case of vacancies, the eligible students are tested and then interviewed. Only after clearing these hurdles one can hope to get admitted in this prestigious school. Prospective students to note that the admission process closes on the last day of September itself. So all those aspiring for admission in Loyola School are to be very particular of the dates.
