Bachelor of Fine Arts admissions 2017 at International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA)

About International Institute of Fine Arts

International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA) was established in the year 2000. It is one of the prestigious institutes in India which offers education to the aspiring students on fine arts courses. It is affiliated to Ch.Charan Singh University, Meerut and also has international recognition.

Experienced teachers from UK teach at IIFA and the institute also conducts workshops and guest lectures by academicians, celebrities and artists.

Courses offered in IIFA

International Institute of Fine Arts offers fine arts degree courses in Fashion Designing, Textile designing, Applied Arts and Painting. In addition to the 4 years bachelor degree courses, the institute also offers advanced diploma courses in Computer graphics and 3D Animation and diploma course in photography.

2017 B.F.A. admissions at IIFA

2017 admissions for B.F.A. degree courses are open at IIFA. To get an admission in IIFA, candidates have to satisfy the eligibility criteria and should follow the application guidelines and procedures as mentioned below.

Eligibility criteria

  • Candidates should have passed class XII examination of CBSE or any equivalent examination with a minimum average of 50% marks

  • Students who are waiting for XII board exam results are also eligible to apply

  • Candidates should have passed the aptitude test conducted by IIFA.


How to apply

Candidates can apply for B.F.A. degree courses in IIFA via online registration or offline registration

Online registration

Candidates who wish to apply via online registration have to fill the mandatory fields in the online application form and have to submit it.

While submitting the online application form, candidates have to upload the following documents
  1. Scanned copy of class X mark sheet ( Format: only PDF, JPG or GIF and Size: 500 KB each file)

  2. Scanned copy of class XII mark sheet or any equivalent mark sheet ( Format: only PDF, JPG or GIF and Size: 500 KB each file)

  3. A recent passport size color photograph ( Format: only JPG or GIF and Size: 200 KB each file)


Note: Provide valid e-mail and contact number because further information from IIFA regarding 2017 admissions and the dates for aptitude test will be intimated to the applicants via e-mail and contact number

Candidates who apply via online have to pay the application fee of Rs.600/- at the time of the aptitude test conducted by IIFA.

Offline registration

Candidates can obtain the application form and prospectus from the institute by paying the application fee of Rs.600/-in person by cash or through a crossed demand draft for Rs.600/- drawn in favor of Institute of Fine Arts payable at Modinagar, NCR of Delhi. To get the admission form via courier an additional amount of Rs.50/- have to be paid.

Candidates can also download the application form and take print out of the form.

In the hard copy of the application form, candidates have to fill all the necessary fields and have to affix a recent color passport size photograph.

The duly filled application forms along with the below mentioned attachments have to be submitted at the institute in person or can also be sent via post to Academic Dean, Institute of Fine Arts, Modinagar, Delhi NCR District Ghaziabad, U.P. Pin – 201201

Attachments

  1. Photocopy of class X mark sheet

  2. Photocopy of class XII mark sheet or any equivalent mark sheet

  3. A multicity cheque or a DD for Rs. 600/- (application fee) taken in favor of Institute of Fine Arts, payable at Modinagar


Note:

  • Attach the DD only if you have downloaded the application form from the official website of IIFA

  • Applicants who have already obtained the application form after the payment of Rs 600/- are not required to send a DD while submitting the application form

  • Do not send the original certificates and mark sheet. Attach only the photocopies


IIFA aptitude test


After the submission of the application form, IIFA will call the eligible candidates to attend an aptitude test followed by an interview on a specified date.

Aptitude test will be conducted by IIFA in the following topics for duration of 2 hours.

  1. General Knowledge

  2. Object drawing [On a ½ Imperial size papers, candidates have to draw the objects placed before light and shade it using pencil, both background and foreground should be displayed .]


Note: Candidates have to bring their own material such as pencil, color, brushes, drawing board, etc. except papers for the aptitude test. IIFA will provide only papers for the test.

Selection criteria


IIFA will admit the candidates for a specified B.F.A. degree course based on the performance of a candidate in the aptitude test and interview conducted by the management.

Scholarship will also be awarded to the candidates based on their performance in aptitude test.
