This is nice article by author selecting some very good movie which has inspired us so much. However, In this list I would like to add the movie "Manjhi", the story of a man who cut the mountain in two pieces to make a road, about the man whose wife died on the way to reach hospital because there was no short cut to go to the hospital. People in that village had to take a long route to reach hospital. He loved his wife so much that he decided that he will cut the mountain to create a road. People called him mental, he didn't get any support from government authority and yet he alone could do such work which could be beyond even anyone's thought. An emotional movie and hard truth about our life inspired a lot that how a single person achieved doing an impossible piece of work.

I started reading the article with tremendous interest. But after finishing the same I am little bit disheartened. The author has discussed about six films which, according to her, are very inspiring. Going into details, I would first like to point out that such articles should mention the films in a chronological order. But unfortunately, the article has not done the same.

So far as “Nache Mayuri” is concerned, I would like to state that this film was released in 1986 and was directed by T. Rama Rao. The film was based on real life incidence of Sudha Chandran, a famous dancer who lost her leg in an accident. I still remember that the film was declared tax-free and became very popular. The music of Laxmikant- Pyarelal was good, but even at that time I felt that it was unnecessarily dramatizing the main issue. The cinematography was good but editing was so-so.

After 'Nache Mayuri', the author has discussed about the film 'Chak De India' (207). The film was directed by Shamit Amin and it was a creative imagination of real life event of Mir Ranjan Negi, Indian goal keeper who had the misfortune of goal-keeping against Pakistan in 1982 Asiad where India lost against Pakistan in the final 1-7. But in the film 'Chak De India', the story revolves around the coach, Kabir Khan, who single-handedly made Indian women’s hockey team a world champion. I do not think this is an inspiring film. The film shows greater-than-life personality of the hero, Sharukh Khan.

Neerja (2016): This is another film which is a dramatization of the life of air-hostess Neerja Bhanot who lost her life in Pan Am hijacking at Karachi airport in 1986. The director of the film, Ram Madhvani tried to make a realistically good film but it is more biographical (nowadays called 'biopic') than inspiring. The cinematography of the film is very good, but the music is not at all worth-listening.

Anand (1971): It is a master piece of Hrishikesh Mukherjee, the doyen of healthy commercial Hindi film. The film shows the relationship between two heroes, Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachhan. Needless to say that this Hrishikesh Mukherjee film is known for cinematography, music, editing and direction; but it cannot be characterized as an inspiring film. It only tells a good story.

However, we must say that 'Daddy' (1991), directed by Mahesh Bhatt and stared by Anupam Kher and Pooja Bhatt, is definitely an inspiring film where a daughter tries to rescue the alcoholic father. Similarly, 'Tare zameen par' (2007) is also an inspiring film. A child suffering from dyslexia is properly taken care of by Amir Khan, the director of the film.

Concluding my brief response, I would expect from the author that in future, while reviewing film/films, she would also discuss the quality of acting, editing, cinematography, music and direction besides discussing the story.

The author has started the article with good introduction and opted to name some of the movies (only six) which are inspiring in author's angle. There are many films, in fact, which are having so much impact of motivation on the society of the past and present.
Design in depicting the material of the article is not proper. I was searching for a conclusion. I think any article with a good conclusion would yield best results even if proper stuff in the body of the article is missed out.

This list of movies seems incomplete because 3 idiots has not been included in this list. How can you forget this movie which teach you to fight against struggles in your life. How the author forgot the message "All is Well".
I have watched it more than ten times and every time I watched it with same interest and enthusiasm. 3 idiots is a complete movie with serious message and a good story line. This movie inspired millions of students across this country with its slogan "Don't go after success, go for expertise, the success will come after you".
