The institute invites applications for admission to its PGDM, part-time post graduate degree programs and its Global MBA program.

PGDM Course Features

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management programs is a two years full time Diploma course (2017-2019) approved by AICTE.

Number of seats: There are 120 seats, out of which 100 seats are for candidates who want to specialize in Marketing or Finance and 20 seats for a Specialized Human Resource Management program.

Hostel: Hostel facility is provided in rented flats near the campus for those based outside Mumbai only. Those staying in Mumbai will not be provided with hostel facility. The security deposit for the hostel is Rs. 30,000/- which is refundable. The monthly rent is approximately Rs. 6000/-, which does not include mess charges.

Eligibility criteria

  1. You should have passed a three years Bachelor's degree exam with minimum 50% from any recognized University.

  2. Scores of CAT/XAT/MH-CET/CMAT/ATMA/MAT will be accepted. If you are appearing for the Maharashtra CET, then also you can apply.

How to apply

  1. For those applying from MumbaI: You should obtain the admission form & kit personally from the Institute's admission office by paying Rs. 2000/-. Fill up the form and submit it along with two recent passport size photos at the Institute office itself.

  2. For those applying from outside Mumbai: You need to download the four pages of the admission form from the Institute's website. Send the completed form along with two photographs and a Demand Draft of Rs. 2000/- in favour of 'N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research' payable at Mumbai. The admission kit will then be sent to you at the address you have provided within approximately 15 to 20 days. You need to provide your correspondence/permanent address on a separate sheet, for further communication and for receipt of the admission kit.

Last date of submission of form is 31st March 2017, up to 6p.m.

Selection process

Selection will be based purely on merit, The Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) will be from 27th April 2017 to 5th May 2017.

MFM/MMM/MHRDM Courses Features

These are three years part time degree courses (2017-2020), affiliated to University of Mumbai. The three courses offered are Master of Marketing Management (MMM), Master of Financial Management (MFM) and Master of Human Resources Development Management (MHRDM), with 90 seats for the first two and 60 seats for the third course.

Course Timings:
  • For the first year: Friday – 7pm to 9pm; Saturday – 4.45 pm to 9pm; and Sunday – 10 am to 5pm

  • For the second and third year: Saturday and Sunday at same times as mentioned for the first year.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Educational qualification: You should have passed a three years Bachelor's degree exam as per university rules from any UGC-recognized University.

  2. Experience: You should have at least two years experience after graduation, at the executive or supervisory level.

How to apply

You can obtain the admission form at the Institute's admission office from Monday to Sunday from 9.30 am to 6pm. The fee for the admission form is Rs. 2000/- (non-refundable). This can be paid by cash or by Demand Draft only. The Demand Draft should be in favour of 'N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research' payable at Mumbai.

Last date of submission of form is 30th April 2017, up to 6p.m.

Selection process

There will be a common entrance test and personal interview. The common entrance test for the Marketing and HR courses will be on May 6th 2017, with the interview & document verification scheduled for the same day. The Common Entrance Test for the Finance course will be on May 7th 2017, with the interview & document verification scheduled for the same day.

Global MBA program features

This One plus One program is for the academic session 2017-19. It is offered as a joint collaboration between N.L.Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research Mumbai and University of Wisconsin – Parkside, USA.

The Global MBA program requires you to obtain 48 program credits totally, with 16 credits of foundation courses, 16 credits of required courses and 16 credits of electives. Once you successfully complete your first year of the PGDM course at Dalmia Institute, you will apply to the MBA program at UW-Parkside. If accepted for admission to the UW-Parkside's MBA program, then you will need to complete a minimum of 26 credit hours at UW-Parkside to receive the MBA degree.
