Every year UPSC conducts Civil service exam in which there are two parts first preliminary in which questions are objective type and second is mains in which question are descriptive type. You have to answer 20 question and every question has 12.5 marks. And there is 150 to 200 words limit in which you should write answers in a precise way so that you don't cross the word limit and score good marks.

You will collect a lot of information reading editorial page and your vocabulary will increase which will help you in writing a precise answer. Revisit answers at the time of practice in your home by which you can write good answers in the exam. Keep in mind about time maintenance.

Hello Saurabh, recently The Hindu newspaper said that this year's prelims exam was the toughest in last five years. So what do you have to say? I feel the trend is really changing gradually. The stress is more on the popular government initiatives like GST, Smart India Hackathon, Benami Transactions Act, National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) etc. It is time that students prepare smartly along with hard work to clear this prestigious exam.

What the Hindu said does not matter but what you, I mean students who appeared this year, say does matter.
