Jet Airways offers a unique program called eduJetter for students travelling to other countries. This year it has expanded the scope of the program. Now, as part of the eduJetter program, a student can enjoy the advantages of the program while travelling to/via Hong Kong as well on codeshare flights operated by Hong Kong Airlines. The benefits offered by the programme were already offered while travelling on international airline carriers KLM, Delta Air Lines, Etihad Airways, Qantas, Air France, American Airlines, United Airlines, US Airlines and US Canada.

For this year, students travelling from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh up to March 31st, 2018 can apply for the program.

The eduJetter kit has special privileges, including:
  1. Luggage benefit: You are provided with baggage allowance of up to 69kg.

  2. SIM cards: You can avail of free SIM cards from Uniconnect with exclusive calling rates. To avail of this offer, call: 1800 2000 383 / 90223 38000 or send an email to info@uniconnect.in. You can also avail of this offer at International airport counters in the cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode.

  3. Hassle-free check-in: You will get through baggage check-in right up to your final destination.

  4. JetPrivelege offer: You can also enrol into JetPrivilege, the frequent flyer program, through which you earn JPMiles on flights with Jet Airways, Etihad Airways or any of the over 25 carriers which are partners with Jet Airways. The JPMiles can also be earned on transactions with other partners, such as hotels, car rental services, writing reviews on TripAdvisor etc. and redeemed for free flights in addition to other benefits, such as getting rewards from the 'JetPrivilege Reward Store'.

  5. Discount on vacationing: You are entitled to a 5% discount on JetEscape holidays

  6. Benefits from Cox & Kings: You can avail of multi-currency VISA prepaid cards along with a free ISIC Forex Card which offers a secure and easy access to foreign exchange. Who can apply

You should have a confirmed admission to study abroad at Universities / educational institutions in the following countries:

At the time of check-in, along with the student visa (as applicable), you will need to produce a copy of your official acceptance offer letter from the university where you have got admission. This document should clearly state your name.

Validity terms

  1. To avail the eduJetter baggage allowance, the whole itinerary must be issued on a single ticket.

  2. Please note eduJetter is not available on stopover journeys and is for economy class only.

  3. The travel must originate from India / Sri Lanka / Bangladesh / Nepal.

  4. It is not valid on JetPrivilege Redemption tickets.

  5. It is not valid Group bookings (tickets booked in 'G' booking class).

  6. For Jet Airways Operated flights, the eduJetter baggage allowance is applicable on both one way and return journeys and is applicable on 9W- operated flights, on 9W*/S2 operated codeshare connections as well as S2 operated connections [refer to the official site to know more about the codeshare connections and baggage allowance rates.]




How to apply

The eduJetter program application process is user-friendly and requires just 3 simple steps:
Step 1: Book a flight ticket, check mark the box for the eduJetter program & the box confirming the Terms and Conditions.

Step 2: On receipt of the e-ticket, fill in the eduJetter online application form

Step 3: You will need to scan and upload the copies of your student visa or college letter during the online application process.

Important note: In case you are booking your flight ticket through an agent, ensure that you do so through an authorized Jet Airways travel agent. Inform the travel agent that you are a student and wish to avail of the excess baggage facilities provided for students. In case the ticket does not indicate the excess baggage allowance, you will need to fill in the eduJetter online application form (link as above in step 2) along with the scanned copies of your student visa or college letter.
