All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test 2017 popularly known as AIAPGET 2017 is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted by the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in New Delhi on behalf of Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Actually this is a single window entrance examination for admission to AYUSH MD/MS PG courses (Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) for all AYUSH Colleges// University/ Institutions /Deemed Universities situated in various parts of India.

The importance of this exam lies in the fact that this is a single entrance exam for getting admission to All India (open and other states) and state quota seats to the above mentioned courses and there won't be any separate entrance exams conducted by institutions. That means if you wish to get admission for any Ayush PG courses this year, then you need to attend this exam. Keep in mind that the entire procedure for registration and application process is by online only. The results will be declared as a combined merit list. Now let's check the details of this exam.

Eligibility

Candidates with BAMS/ BUMS/ BHMS/ BSMS/Graded BHMS degree or Provisional BAMS/ BUMS/ BHMS/ BSMS pass certificate recognized and possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM/CCH /universities/ state board /deemed universities and have completed one year of internship or/those who are likely to complete the internship before the date of counseling, are eligible to apply for this year AIAPGET.

Registration fees

The registartion fee for All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test 2017 is given below.
  • General/OBC: Rs 1750
  • SC ST/Pwd: Rs 1250

The prescribed registration fee should be remitted through payment gateway provided using a Credit Card or a Debit Card issued by banks in India or through Internet banking.

Mode of entrance exam

The exam will be based on the subjects that were taught during BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS prescribed by CCIM/CCH. This is a computer based entrance test where there will be 100 multiple choice questions. Here the candidates have to read the questions on a computer screen and then select the answer by using mouse to click on the option. The test will be of 1 ½ hours where the correct answers will be given 1 mark each. But for wrong answers, 0.25 marks each will be deducted from the total score.
