It may be remembered that Bangalore Development Authority has successfully constructed and allotted flats in its earlier attempts as BDA Flats at Alur, Malagalala, Doddabanahalli, Velagerahalli other areas before and the organization has also advertised for 5,000 sites in Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout.

Who can apply for Bangalore Development Authority flats through

Below mentioned clauses need to followed before proceeding to apply for the flats at BDA, Bangalore:
  • The applicant should have attained 18 years of age as on the date of notification.

  • Applicant should not possess any plots or flats anywhere in the State allotted through private agencies or through government

  • Applicant should be a resident of Karnataka for not less than 15 years the applicant is required to produce domicile certificate in any form at the time of applying for the flats

  • In case the annual income of the applicant from all sources is less than Rs.1 lac per annum in such cases the applicant eligible to apply under Economically Weaker Section i.e., EWS for which requisite documents need to be produced issued from government authorities.

Note: All flats will be allotted public allotment basis, purely on first come first serve basis other clauses applicable.



How to apply for BDA Flats

Candidates who fulfill the requisites as mentioned above are eligible to apply depending on their choices and affordability.
  • Before obtaining blank application, registration with B.D.A. is mandatory not applicable in case already registered

  • Applicant required to obtain blank Application form from the designated branch of the bank

  • Filled in application with enclosures should be submitted at the same branch where the blank application obtained

  • The initial deposit for the flats should be made either in the form of demand draft or in the form of Banker's Cheque or in the form of Pay Order which should be procured in the name of Commissioner, BDA Bangalore.

  • An applicant is eligible to apply for a single flat at one area. In case the applicant wishes to apply for more than one flat in the same area or separate flats in other areas, he is required to make separate applications with enclosures and initial deposit separately with each application. However, only one flat will be allotted as per applicant's priority mentioned in the application.

  • Allotments will be made on the basis of number of previous attempts made by the candidates.

  • Either the registration or the initial deposit made do not carry any type of interest

  • Applications will be summarily rejected in case the applicant fails to enclose the desired copies of other documents

Applicants who wish to apply for the above mentioned flats required to obtain blank application form from the designated bank branch mentioned below.

Such candidates required to pay Rs.200/- application fee in case they belongs to SC/ST category for others it is Rs.400/-.

Those who have not registered before required to pay Rs.100/- as registration fee in case they belongs to SC/ST category for other it is Rs.200/-.
