Here i am to tell you about the formal discussion that took place between the hiring team of genpact and me.
There are 3 rounds in the Genpact Hiring Session. 1.Aptitude 2.GD 3.Personal Interview
Aptitude - There are 4 sets distributed among the students. Luckily i got the best set and i topped the set.
Group Discussion - This is held among the 8 people. This is just based on the general topics. Not so tough to clear.
Interview: (It went for 30 min. Stress Interview. ) - Interviewer is a Person with 15 years of experience. As soon as i entered the room , he asked me to take the position and he took my resume and he quickly scanned the whole resume. Then started the interview, he asked me to give to explain/support each point i have described in the resume.
Then he came to my Final year Project, he asked many questions about that for which i answered him. Then he came to my presentations and asked what made me to choose that topic and questions regarding that presentation.
He asked me to write a Simple C-Program(generate infinete prime numbers). He asked me about my technical subjects, asked my favorite subject and posed questions on that subject.
After completing all the technical quiries he posed questions for my personal background . i.e., how will your friends describe you (character) ? what is your favorite past time ? why did you choose software feild etc. There were many questions regarding HR.
As i specified it was a stress interview his response for my answers was like every thing i was speaking is rubbish.But believe me guys one can have good experience and fun in these types of interviews.
finally after completing all the quiries i was asked to wait for results. After 1 hour the results were out and i am very excited to see my name in the selected candidates.
Thats one of the best interviews i have attended.
