When looking for a job besides finding them on job portals and print advertisements ,there are other sources also.

Basic meaning of networking means to be connected with people whom you currntly know and also to people with whom you have lost contact.Top networking sites now give you and opportunity to find your lost friends and collegues and also to make new friends.

Best example of job hunting through networking is as follows:

I go to one of my supplier and while having a casual chat,he asks me to refer a person who can take care of his companies accounts.Now while chatting on a networking site i mention to my friends about this job.One of my friend has a friend who is looking for a job and has a accounts background.Now that last person in the chain contacts me and i refer him to my supplier.

Based on the above concept many of the networking sites are helpful in finding a job.Some of the examples such sites are Brijj.com(recently launched by naukri.com),linkedzone.com etc.

Try out this new approach and definitely it will be helpful.
