Jamnabai Narsee International School (JNIS) is now authorized to offer all the three of the International Baccaluareate's (IB) programmes, namely the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP.) Admissions are now open for Grades 2 to 9 on the basis of seat availability. About JNIS

Jamnabai Narsee International School, Mumbai was established in 2015 by the Narsee Monjee Educational Trust. The school is from Grade 1 to Grade 12, with students following the IB Program curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE from Grade 8 to 10.

At the end of the academic year of Grade 7, a student can opt for the IGCSE curriculum offered by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), UK for the higher classes or continue with the ICSE curriculum of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE)-CISCE, New Delhi.

The students of Grade 8 who had opted for IGSE undertake the CIE Checkpoint exam at the end of the academic year.

Subjects include Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, History, Geography, Physical education, along with Art, Music and Sports. Students work on projects to analyze their knowledge of a specific subject. Value education is also imbibed for wholesome development of the child.

Beyond the classroom, fun activities are organized for different classes of Jamnabai Narsee International School, such as trekking during the monsoon, a camp, etc. in addition to excursions done for educational purposes. Students of the higher classes are also encouraged to participate in social services.

A unique feature of the school is the Jamnabai Adolescent Mentor (JAM) program, through which the selected students of Grades 9 and 11 are trained to become mentors for other students of various classes.



How to apply

The online registration form is available at the Jamnabai Narsee International School website from 13th November 2017 to 18th November 2017.

Fill up the online form completely and pay the registration fee of Rs.1000/- via the link provided on the registration form page.

Information session and school tour schedules

  1. For PYP and MYP admissions: 25th November 2017 at 9.30a.m. in the school hall (be seated in the school hall by 9.15 am.) You must bring the registration receipt with you. The school brochure will be given to you on that day.

  2. For Cambridge Checkpoint Grade 8: 20th November, 2017 at 4p.m. in the school hall (be seated in the school hall by 3:45 pm.) You must bring the registration receipt with you.

Selection process

For the PYP/MYP admission, an informal assessment and interaction will be schedule in the first week of December 2017. Selected candidates will be notified by an email/sms regarding their admission for the PYP / MYP 2018-19 batch in the third week of December 2017.

For the Cambridge Checkpoint Grade 8 admissions, the selected candidates will be notified by an email/sms regarding their admission for the 2018-19 batch by mid December 2017.
