“Laughter is also an expression of happiness. If we can learn to laugh unconditionally, our happiness, too, will become unconditional. Scores of people are deriving health benefits from laughter therapy. A sense of well being, a feeling of freshness throughout the day, better sleep, less fever, aches and pains are some of the immediate benefits,”

A good laugh helps the whole body relax, helps calm a heart racing due to anxiety and helps lower blood pressure. It also stimulates production of digestive juices, has a beneficial effect on stress levels and boosts the immune system. The researchers add that a few giggles can help clear the mind, spurring creativity and efficiency.” Obviously, laughter therapy is the need of the hour in these stressful times when stress-related diseases are on the rise. “High blood pressure, heart disease, anxiety, depression, nervous breakdowns, peptic ulcers, alcoholism and drug addition are some examples of stress-related diseases,”

But where do you search for laughter? “Normally, people believe that you need a good sense of humour to laugh, but the reverse is also true. You laugh in a group, your inhibitions are broken and a sense of humour flows.

But how can one laugh just like that? “Laughter is highly contagious and comes out easily with proper training. There are different Laughter Clubs formed now-a-days. Laughter in such laughter clubs is the purest laughter as we laugh without reason. It is not directed at others but we learn to laugh at ourselves. This helps to pacify the ego which is the seat of many troubles in life.

Be happy and make others happy too by spreading you laughter. There is a great saying... “A curve of smile makes everything straight”... Ist’’ it. So keep smiling and make others smile. We don’t loose anything with a sweet smile.

Yes, It’s true Mala,

Laugh will remove all our tensions, sorrows, pain, depress etc. Elder and experienced will tell "Laugh cures every disease in body as well as makes mind relax".

Many famous hospitals have implemented this therapy to divert their patients mind to some other activities and make them to forget their pain and sorrow.

This is really a good therapy which is required to every human being.

Thats why many TV channels have started Comedy shows and Comedy Cinemas etc. How much time, we are feeling happy, that much time, we will forget every tension, pain and sorrow of our life.

Thanks for providing such wonderful articles to us.

Regards,
Jyothi.
