Hi All,
Ninety-seven self financing university affiliated and AICTE approved MBA and MCA colleges have decided to conduct a Common Entrance Test (CET), KMAT 2008, on July 6 to fill their management quota seats.
The government of Karnataka has issued a notification dated February 12 making KMAT 2008 mandatory for filling the quota of management seats and the government will conduct PGCET for filling 50% of the government quota of seats.
The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges’ Association (KPPGCA) Secretary M Prakash said the test will be held in various centres all over Karnataka and students from all over the country can appear.
Last year, about 18,500 students appeared for the test and around 4,000 candidates were admitted to various colleges on the basis of their KMAT score ranking. The details of KMAT 2008 can also be obtained on the website www.kmat-2008.com and
