Management Aptitude Test(MAT):Management Aptitude Test started in the year 1998 as National Level Entrance Exam for getting admission to B-Schools program. In 2003, the Government of India and Ministry of HRD approved MAT Exam as an entry to the 600 B-schools around India. Here comes the features of MAT 2018.
Features of MAT
Mode of test and feesThe test is conducted in two different modes.
Students can choose any of these tests. The fees for the application is Rs 1550. Candidate can apply for both the tests by paying an extra fee of Rs 1100 in addition to Rs 1550. When candidates apply for both mode of a test, they get a benefit of selecting 2 management institutions for sending their test scores and they can apply to 7 management institutions. But on the other hand, candidates applying only to one mode of test can apply only to 5 institutions.
Test date with timings
Eligibility:Graduates who are in final year and also those who have graduated from any discipline can apply for the exam.
How to apply for MAT May 2018 exam?Candidates can register for MAT 2018 on the AIMAwebsite with their credit card or debit card. For Paper Based Test or Computer Based the fees is Rs 1550. But for both Paper Based and Computer Based Test, the fees is Rs 2650. The test centers for Paper Based Test and Computer Based Test will be different. The Paper-Based Test will take place in one day, May 6 from 10.00 AM to 12.30 PM. The Computer Based Test will take place in different time slots on May 20. If the number of candidates applied for Computer Based Test is low, then the test will be completed in a single day.
Download of Admit Cards:The candidates who are registered for Paper Based Test can download admit cards from AIMA website after 28th April 2018. The candidates who are registered for Computer Based Test can download their admit cards after 12th May 2018. Admit card contains the Name of the Candidate, Number of the form, Roll Number, Date of the test and venue address. Candidates have to follow the date and time for the Computer Based Test.
