Indian Institute of Technology, HyderabadThe Department of Chemistry started functioning from the very inception of Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IITH). Both theory and laboratory teaching programs started on the very first day of IITH. This department is the first to start first PG program in Sciences at IITH. This two-year M.Sc. Chemistry degree program was started in 2010.

The University of Hyderabad The University offers the two-year Postgraduate course as well as integrated 5 years course also. The course gives equal importance to physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry. The program covers Instrumentation and Computer Applications, Mathematics for Chemists, Materials Chemistry, Biological Chemistry, seminar course, elective courses and project work in the final semester.
