Symbiosis Society's Law College (SSLC)

Introduction -
Symbiosis Society's Law College, one of the premier Law Institutes in the country offers an outstanding opportunity for students to carve out excellent careers in Law. The institute's contemporary course structure and teaching methodology has seen it rise to the 5th ranking institute in India. SSLC offers BA LLB and BBA LLB programs. The admiossion to these programs is done mainly on the basis of Entrance Test.

Course Structure



BBA LLB/BA LLB -

Duration: 5 years integrated law course

Intake: 50 seats (B.A.LL.B)

Intake: 150 seats (B.B.A.LL.B)

Selection Procedure: All India Law Entrance examination as well as interview.

Medium of Instruction: English

Pattern of Course: Semester System - Ten Semesters

Examination & Method of Assessment: The examination will be conducted at the end of each semester. Each paper will consist of 100 marks.

Standard of Passing: 35% marks in each head of passing. 50% in aggregate head of passing.

Award of Degree: Degree will be awarded at the end of 10th semester by taking in to consideration performance of all the 10 semesters.

Eligibility -

12th standard exam passed with minimum 50% marks, (with no Back logs).

Test Pattern -

The All India Law Entrance Examination is generally held in the month of May. The Paper will be of objective type and will carry 150 Marks. The students will be assessed on the basis of marks that they obtain in the Entrance Test:

Symbiosis Entrance Test Location:

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted in 13 cities. A candidate may choose one city.

Jaipur
Kolkata
Kochi
Lucknow
Mumbai
Pune

*Symbiosis reserves the right to change or allot a city other than the one requested in the event of the requested city not being available for any reason. No change of Test city will be permitted.

Tentative Dates -

Online registration starts - February
Online registration closes - April
Symbiosis Entrance Test - 1st Week of May
Result - 3rd week of May
