The Department of Humanities & Social Sciences is organizing a short-term course on SOFT SKILLS, GROUP DISCUSSION & PERSONAL INTERVIEW during 5th 8th June 2008. Specially designed for faculty and graduates of Technical and Management Institutes, this course offers exposure to key elements of Group Discussions and Personal Interviews, and related soft skills that are essential for self-learning and training students.

FACULTY AND PEDAGOGY
Communication and Management experts from IIT Kharagpur will deliver lectures, organize mock GDs and interview sessions with students, and hold simulated and structured exercises, case studies etc., in interactive sessions.
Edited video clips of mock sessions will be given to the participants.
COURSE FEE
·Course fee: Rs.5000/-
This would include course material, certificate, AC accommodation on twin-sharing basis and food at Visveswaraya Guesthouse, IIT Kharagpur.
Demand Draft in favour of
CEP-STC, IIT Kharagpur
along with registration form has to be sent before 26 May 2008.
A select number of candidates are being sponsored by Centre for Advanced Communication (CACM), STEP.
Limited seats available. Selection will be on the basis of date of receipt of completed application and DD.
