Established in 2003, Dr. John's School & College of Nursing (formerly known as Infant Jesus School and College of Nursing), is situated in Bangalore - the beautiful "Garden City" of India.



Courses offered:

GNM Three year and 6 months program in General Nursing and Midwifery
BSc. Nursing Four year bachelor's degree program in Nursing
MSc. Nursing To be offered from academic year 2008-09


The School and College are recognized by: Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi (No.18-15/1673-INC & No.18-15/1674-INC) and the Karnataka Nursing Council. The College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka.

Admission Procedure for International Students

Eligibility requirements:

BSc. Nursing: Candidates are required to have passed the 10 + 2 school years with 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Compulsory subjects). Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

General Nursing & Midwifery: Candidates are required to have passed the 10 + 2 school years with 45% in the core subjects (Arts/Science/Commerce), preferably Science. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age and should be below 35 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Admissions are processesed between the months of January and August, for the academic year commencing in September.

Step 2
You have to mail the two forms along with photostat copies of your certificates and the Eligibility fee to: ( Note: List of documents and Fees are mentioned in the application form)

Although there is a set deadline for application for our courses [August], you are advised to apply early, since eligibility (Application evaluation) process takes about 3-4 weeks.

Step 3
The University / Board will evaluate your application (4-6 weeks)and if found eligible for the course, you will be intimated by e- mail.

Step 4
You have to remit by Bank drafts, the 1) First year tuition fee 2) University Admission fee.

Step 5
After the receipt of the fees, our office will issue the "Acceptance Letter.

Step 6
You have to report to the Admissions office, on the first day of commencement of classes.

Classes will commence in the month of September, every year.
