The wildlife attractions of India are huge and worth appreciating. Numerous rare and endangered species of animals, birds and reptiles can be found in the country. The marine life is equally interesting. The tigers, rhinoceros, elephants, black bucks, lions, cobras and peacocks are the prime wildlife attractions in the country. Apart from these, there are other wildlife species too that have commanding presence in the forest areas of the country. A wildlife trip to India will allow you a close encounter with all these marvelous wildlife species.

The wildlife in India is vast and allows one to explore a varied range of animals and birds in its dense forests. The various wildlife sanctuaries and national parks in India are the home to the wild animals and birds that thrive freely in the forests of the national parks and bird sanctuaries. The Wildlife Tours to India offers the best opportunity to enjoy and feel the excitement of admiring and being with the wild beasts, tamed animals and birds in a majestic way.

The national parks are a means of closely absorbing and getting acquainted with the tiger that roams freely in the jungle. The elephants, leopards and rhinos can also be seen making their way through the tall grasses. Crocodiles and hippos in the rivers are some fascinating sights along with the deer, monkeys, bear, squirrels, mongoose etc.

The bird sanctuaries in India not only have wide variety and beautiful bird species from India and other regions of the world. The bird watchers come from far off places to see these beautiful birds from close distances. If snakes fascinate you, then pythons, cobras and many more reptiles can be seen in snake parks at many parks. The Wildlife in India allows exciting and unforgettable adventure for the nature lovers in this beautiful country.

The Indian peninsula is a continent in itself, whose geographical diversity has encouraged the flourishing of a whole range of wildlife with over 350 species of mammals and 1200 species of birds in the country. Two of India's most impressive animals, the Bengal/Indian Tiger and the Asiatic Elephant are found in most regions, The tiger originated in Central Asia and migrated over the great Himalayas to the dense tropical forests, adapting itself well to the plains. A herd of elephants in the wild is a breathtaking sight. These huge mammals are respected by all animals, including the Tiger. Widely distributed throughout India, the Indian Elephant is slightly smaller than its African counterpart. Generally, only the males have tusks. Today, most of India's wildlife finds refuge in over two hundred sanctuaries and parks around the country.

See these animals roaming around freely and safely in their natural habitat on a jeep, on the back of an elephant or camel or from a boat. Also, explore the interiors with the help of your guide to discover the vividness of the flora which provide shelter and food to these animals. All these are so unique and interesting in themselves that you will be forced to revisit the wildlife regions time and again.

Nice to hear that you keep intrest in wildlife. Animals are one thing which can make a person forget his grief. We must always learn to respect animals and treat them with love and affection as we must not forget that we too are animals after all...!!!
