Introduction
Nanotechnology is a 'catch-all' description of activities at atomic and molecular levels that have applications in the real world. It is multidisciplinary- associated with physics, chemistry, material science, mechanics, electronics and medicine. The program is a complete course in applied nanotechnology where the dimensions and tolerances in the range of 0.1nm to 100 nm play a critical role. It also encompasses precision engineering as well as electronics; electromechanical systems and biomedical applications.
