PANJAB UNIVERSITY, CHANDIGARH
Applications are invited for the following posts so as to reach the Deputy Registrar (Estt.), Panjab University, Chandigarh by 23.6.2008.
I. DIRECTOR-PROFESSOR -1 (Grade Rs. 16400-22400) at S.S. Giri P.U. Regional Centre, Bajwara, Hoshiarpur.
II. PROFESSORS – 25 (Grade Rs. 18600-22100+ NPA as per rules for Dental Institute and Rs.16400-22400 for other departments)
III. READERS - 45 (Grade Rs. 14300-18150 +NPA as per rules for Dental Institute and Rs. 12000-18300 for other departments)
IV. LECTURERS – 66 (Grade Rs. 8000-275-13500)
Application form along with ‘Detailed Instructions’ can be had either personally from S.B.I. Cash Counter, Panjab University, Chandigarh or by post from Deputy Registrar (Establishment) by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope
(worth Rs.25/-) of 30 cm. X 12 cm. alongwith requisite fee of Rs. 375/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST category) through Bank Draft favouring Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh.
The candidates living abroad may apply on plain paper with full bio-data (ten copies), one set of attested copies of testimonials, together with requisite fee through a crossed account payee Bank Draft payable at Chandigarh in favour of the Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Please also attach four sets of reprints of five major publications (out of which two could be books or research projects) for the post of Director-Professor and Professor and if applied for
the post of Reader attach four sets of reprints of three research publications. This condition is not applicable for the posts at Dr. H.S. Judge Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital. Application form and Detailed Instructions are also available on Website: forms.puchd.ac.in.
