IIT Bombay is conducting a Summer Workshop on Ontology, NLP, Personalization and IE/IR sponsored by HP Labs, Bangalore. The Workshop faculty are renowned experts in their respective fields. Ideal candidates will be students, researchers and teachers from the Academia and Industries working on and interested in the topics of the workshop which are mentioned below. The workshop will be in the form of 1 ½ - 2 hr tutorials in two sessions - pre Lunch and post lunch.
The Workshop will address the cutting edge techonology areas of:
1. Ontology (hierarchical knowledge organisation)
2. Bridge between text and Ontology
3. Semantic Relation Extraction.
4. Mathematical aspects of Information Retrieval.
5. Graphical Models.
6. Web Corpora Processing.
7. Sentiment Analysis.
8. Cross-Lingual Search.
9. Summarization
