For all program other than B.Arch.
The admission will be purely on the basis of the performance in the Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by SRM University The candidates short-listed based on their performance in the entrance examination will be called for the counseling to be held at the SRM University premises in Kattankulathur 603 203, ChennaiSRMEEE 2008 – ADMISSION PROCEDURE B.ARCH AMENDMENT
The following amendment as enforced by Council of Architecture (Vide their letter no. CA / 5/ Academic – NATA dt March 11, 2008) may please be noted by the candidates who apply for admission to B.Arch program:
EXISTING For Candidates who have taken Foreign Board Examination at Higher Secondary Level: Admissions will be based purely on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination. NATA score is not necessary.
AMENDED AS For Candidates who have taken Foreign Board Examination at Higher Secondary Level Foreign student / NRI Cannot take the test from their country of residence: The candidate will have to register in India and give the test from any of the designated Test Centres of his / her choice in India. The qualification process for giving NATA stands the same.
On receipt of the NATA core card and the mark sheet of the QUALIFYING EXAMINATION (Higher Secondary or its equivalent) candidates are required to send a Xerox copy of the same to the Dean of Admissions, SRM University.

For M. S. (TQM)
The Admission Committee will decide on the procedure for conducting the interview for eligible candidates, as decided by the committee from year to year, and the percentage of marks obtained in specified subjects of the qualifying examinations Admission Committee will prepare a merit list and will offer admissions through counseling, taking into account the professional experience of the candidate and the available number of seats In the matter of admission to the M. S. (TQM) program, the decision of the Admission Committee is final and bindingFor M. S. (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) First class in the qualifying exam followed by interview. Candidates will be short listed based on the qualifying examination before being called for the interview.
