I completed my 3 years Diploma in Computer Hardware Maintenance course from Model Polytechnic College, Vadakara. Model Polytechnic Vadakara is a good institute for technical education.
The Model Polytechnic College, Vadakara is the brain child of institute of Human Resources development ( I H R D ) established by the Govt. of Kerala in the year 1988,whose main objective is to function as a catalyst to foster the growth of electronics ,computer and specialized fields such as Medical Electronics throw a plethora of innovative endeavors.
The institution is dedicated to scientific advancement, technological progress and economics growth of the country through human resources development. It shall Endeavour to adhere to the principle thing globally and act locally , so that the nation's welfare are firmly entwined with - and embedded in the world wide goals of society.
They work to achieve the objective of producing technically skilled manpower. They stand by the motto MODEST MISSION WIDEST VISION
The curriculum for each course has been carefully chosen , catering to the requirements of the emerging needs of the - industrial and service sectors. Taking in to account the unprecedented advancement occurring in the respective fields, the syllabus is frequently revised an updated to keep in pace with the advancing frontiers of modern technology. The overall organization of the course is carefully planned to provide greater emphasis to laboratory session and project work. Nearly 50% of the study period is set apart for practical training. The practical sessions comprise three different stages, viz, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting /servicing of equipments. Moreover, students are given practical training in the latest products in there respective fields by conducting nation wide study tools to major institutions and industries
The Polytechnic College offers three year Diploma course in applied electronics, Computer hardware maintenance and Medical Electronics, the courses being recognized by the Public Service Commission (PSC) of Kerala. The institution has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. This is the only institution in kerala ( and probably one among in South India) which has courses accredited.

I appreciate for you for providing data about your college where you studied. What i would like to say you should give little more insight i.e state naac acrediation level etc.
