COMMON ADMISSION TEST
CITD is a pioneering Organization in India offering technical training at Post Graduate level in Tool Design and CAD/CAM, joins hands with Electronics Corporation of India Limited, a Public Sector giant in Electronics and IT training to offer the following Diploma programmes in the CITD campus at Balanagar, Hyderabad.
COURSE: POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN VLSI & EMBEDDED SYSTEMS
Duration: Six months
Eligibility: Degree in Eng. CSE /ECE / EEE & EIE / M .Sc (Electronics) or equivalent.
No. of seats: 40
Course Fee: Rs. 45,000/-
Course Contents:
VLSI Design methodology, Digital Design Concepts, Verilog HDL, VHDL, Modeling&
Simulation, Synthesis, FPGA, CMOS Layout,
EDA TOOLS CADENCE, Tanner, Mentor Graphics, Xilinx.
Programming Concepts, Operating Systems, internals & programming, Networking & Socket Programming, Microcontrollers Embedded System, Design Concepts, Real Time Operating Systems, Digital Signal Processing.
Selection Procedure:
Admission will be based on a National level Common Admission Test to evaluate applicant's aptitude and Technical knowledge. The Test will be of 2 hrs duration comprising of objective type questions. The criterion for selection will be based on the applicant's performance in the test.
How to Apply:
Prescribed application form and prospectus (containing rules and syllabus for Entrance Examination) can be had from CAD/CAM Department, Central Institute of Tool Design, Hyderabad – 500 037, by paying cash or a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (S.C/S.T candidates Rs. 100/-) drawn in favour of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad, on any Nationalized Bank, Preferably State Bank of Hyderabad, Balanagar branch, Hyderabad – 37. The S.C/S.T Category candidates need to enclose a copy of Cast Certificate attested by Gazetted officer.
Course fee:
The fee is Rs. 45,000/- (Rupees Forty thousand only) payable in two installments.
First Installment of Rs. 25,000/- at the time counseling.
Second Installment of Rs. 20,000/- within 60 days i.e. on or before 04-09-2008.
IMPORTANT DATES
Last Date for submission of application forms : 14-06-2008.
Last Date for submission of application forms with late fee of Rs. 200/-: 18-06-2008.
Date of Entrance Exam : 21-06-2008.
Date of Counseling: 04-07-2008.
