OBJECTIVE
The area of semiconductor materials and technology
has undergone a rapid expansion in recent years with
new developments continuously taking place all over
the world. There has been a tremendous growth in the
development of new materials, characterization
techniques and latest technologies leading to
miniaturization of devices.The conference will focus on
the topics covering the basic physical phenomena and
recent advances in material technology and processing.
SCOPE
Amorphous Semiconductors
Wide band gap Semiconductors
Conducting Polymers
Nanostructures
Photovoltaic Devices
Emerging Materials & Devices
TECHNICAL SESSIONS
Technical sessions will consist of invited talks from
leading experts in the field, and also research papers
which are invited from researchers, scientists and
technologists for presentation during the conference.
The contributory papers will be classified into Oral and
Poster presentations.

Submission of Camera Ready Papers
September 10, 2008
One soft copy of the full paper in CD should also be
submitted.
REGISTRATION FEE
Participants are requested to register in advance. The
enclosed registration form or its photocopy may be filled
and sent along with the research paper. The following
are the registration charges:
Faculty/Scientists: Rs. 1500/-
S S (I) Members: Rs. 1000/-
Research Scholars: Rs. 500/-
Overseas Participants: US $ 100/-
Registration fee includes conference material, breakfast/
lunch/dinner and tea/coffee.
PROCEEDINGS
All the presented papers will be published in the
proceedings through a reputed publisher. Contributed
papers should not exceed the limit of four pages.
SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT(S)
Abstract can be sent by email but camera ready copy
should follow. On the abstract, at the bottom, please
indicate the author to whom correspondence should be
addressed and include mailing address, telephone
number and e-mail ID.
Abstract may be contained in a vertical rectangle of
dimension 16cm x 23cm on a good quality A4 size paper
(12 pt). The name of the author presenting the paper
should be underlined. Margins of at least 2.5 cm should
be left on all sides. The title should be typed in bold
letters (14 pt).Two camera-ready copies of abstracts (up
to 500 words) should be sent to
