Job Opportunity at IACS
IACS is looking for brilliant scientists in the grades of Assistant and Associate Professors, Professors and Senior Professors in all the areas of its research activities (Theoretical Physics; Solid State Physics; Materials Sciences, Spectroscopy; Atomic, Molecular and Optical Sciences, Solar and Nonconventional Energy Sources, Polymer Science, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Biological Chemistry) Pay scales and minimum qualification norms for the different grades are as follows:
Assistant Professors (12,000 - 375 - 18,000) PhD with 4 years of Post-doctoral experience
Associate Professors (14,300 - 400 - 18,300) PhD with 8 years of Post-doctoral experience
Professors (16,400 - 450 - 20,000) Established scientists with proven leadership qualities, widely recognized in his/her area of research
Senior Professors (18,400 - 500 - 22,400) An authority in the area well recognized in India and abroad
The recruitment process is a continuous one and there is as such no deadline. Selection may not be restricted among those who apply. For outstanding candidates, the experience can be relaxed.
