POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP (2008-09)
As we move forward into the 21st Century it is important to reflect on the great contributions that entrepreneurs have made to the well being of our people and the wealth of our economy. With years of experience to back it in entrepreneurship development. IIE has been conducting Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Entrepreneurship since 2006 .The course has been designed in a such a manner so that the students get a continuous feedback through tests, assignments and counseling. Emphasis on the participantss's self development and improvement of communication abilities through rigorous training is the prima focus. With a believe that inculcating the right attitude with the desired skills will enable them to develop the insight needed to discover and create entrepreneurial opportunities; and the expertise to successfully start and manage their own business ventures. The one-year course comprises of three trimesters with three specialization options on Agri Business management, Small & Medium Enterprise Management, Service Sector Management. Over a year of intense training by the institute the outgoing PGDME student lead to build a team of qualified entrepreneurs who seek out to venture reafforadable, imaginative and relevant bankable projects towards the end of the course which illustrates a feasible outcome of being carried out and expanding in the near future.
As the course content is intense hence to enroll into the course a minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree / diploma holder is required with an aggregate marks of 45%. A common Entrance is conducted to get the drift of student’s basic concepts and perspective towards the course. The course fee is Rs 30,000/- which is payable in three installments. Forms are available at the institute, which can be obtained from the institute on payment of Rs.250 in cash or through DD of Rs300/- drawn in favor of Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), payable at Guwahati.
