Applications are invited for the post of Lecturers in Nursing (temporary on
scale of pay) for the various centres under the School of Medical Education, a selffinancing
institution under the University. The candidates applying for the post of
lecturer shall be Post Graduates in Nursing . The appointment will be on a scale of
pay of Rs. 10000-325-15200 and the age limit will be as per the University
Rules/Orders. Candidates opting for the Regional Centre of SME at Nedumkandom
will be given a special allowance of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees One Thousand and Five
Hundred only) per month. The other INE centres are, Pala, Pathanamthitta, Thevara,
T D Road, Ernakulam, Angamaly, Puthuppally and Gandhinagar. The posts are
temporary and subject to continue depending on the financial viability of the
institution. Format of application can be downloaded from the University website
www.mguniversity.edu. and www.mgu.ernet.in. Applications with attested copies
of certificates to prove age, caste, qualification and a DD for Rs. 300/- as registration
fee drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Mahatma Gandhi University, payable at
SBT, Mahatma Gandhi University Campus Branch, Priyadarshini Hills, should reach
the Deputy Registrar (SFS), Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarshini Hills P.O,
Kottayam – 686 560 on or before 25.06.2008 positively.
