Forms and information, can be obtained from Academic Office, NID. Ahmedabad directly by sending a Demand Draft on any Scheduled Bank payable at Ahmedabad for Rs. 1050/- (Rs.500/- for reserved categories, who should also send a copy of the relevant document from competent authority) favouring National Institute of Design. and a self-addressed envelope of 8x1 2' size with Rs.25/- stamps affixed. Mark your envelope Admlsslons 2008'. Forms downloaded from NID's website, along with required amount of OD drawn in favour of National Institute of Design, payable at Ahmedabad will also be accepted.
Prescribed percentage of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to various reserved categories as per the Government of India norms in force at the time of admissions. Design Aptitude Tests (DAT) for eligible candidates for the Post-Graduate Diploma Programme will be held at Ahmedabad. Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandlgarh, Chennal, DelhI, Guwahati. Hyderabad. Kanpur, Kochi, Kolkata & Mumbal. Application forms arid prospectus can also be obtained from select branches of Bank of India on payment of Rs. 1050/- towards the cost of the form plus Rs.30/- as bank charges from October 9 to November 23, 2007. (Forms at concessional rates to reserved categories are available only from NID. Ahmedabad directly).
