Gourov Dasgupta is the composers of the music of the album “Summer 2007 “that has a few youthful party songs. The film “Summer 2007” is about medical college students who spent their time in a village in summers and what they experience ,is the theme of the film.

‘Jaaniye Teri Ankhoke Ye Roshani’ –The song has been sung by Ujjaini Roy and the song has style romance with lots of rock music. The song is also in a “Sad version “in the album and the voice of singers is attractive and charming to hear.

‘Jaage Hain Baad Muddat Ke’ –Rock and Sufi qawalli with the voice of singer Toshi (popular reality show participant) and Sharib make the song extremely inspirational and impressive. The lyrics of the song are by Vibha Singhe and the electric guitar sound is variable.

‘I Just Want to fly’ – The English words in the song and rock element is just to attract the youth audience The song is in the voice of Gourav Dasgupta , Ujjaini Roy and Aanchal Bhatia. The song has guitar sounds and the DJ remix version of the song is also present in the album that is for a party.

‘Baali Main Sone Waali’-The song is situational one having the singers Sunidhi Chauhan and Gourav Dasgupta in background.

‘Kash Mein Kaash Khone Toh De’- College mates together celebrating being together and having a party is the theme of the song. The song has rocky touch and loud orchestra .The voices are of Bonny Chakraborty and Shweta Vijay .The remix version of the song is also present in the album having prominent guitar sound.

‘Summer 2007' –The title track is a rock song with English lyrics, just meant to touch the Gen X that goes for English songs. The song has been written, composed and sung by Gourov Dasgupta and the beats are electric instruments sounds. The sound of music is different from trend and is attracting.

The songs of the film are basically made to make it attractive to the youth and college goers. The Indian classical or folk is missing but the album offers a different kind of fresh notes.
