Uttar pradesh chief minsiter Mayawati has forced the fishiries minster Jamuna Prasad Nishad to resign due to his invovrment in the killing of the cop.According to sources a girl from Nishad's community had been raped, the accused was handed to the police. Since the rape could not be confirmed by medical tests the accused was booked under eve-teasing.The angry community led by the minster forced into the police station and snatched the rifles from the policeman on duty ,they also broke open the armoury .One of the constable named Krishnaanad Rai was killed when shots were fired by the protestors.The minister was immediatly sacked when his invovement came to light.The minister was arrested later by the police.
